How to Add a MapCosmos Store Locator to Your Wix Website

Want to help your customers easily find your locations on your Wix site? With MapCosmos, you can  embed a beautiful, interactive store locator in just a few steps - no coding skills needed.  

Follow this simple guide to get started:  

Step 1: Set Up Your MapCosmos Widget

• Log in or sign up at MapCosmos.com.
• Create or import your locations, products, services, categories, and much more (skip this part, if already done).
• Navigate to the Map Widgets section and create your map widget (skip this part, if already done).
• For a chosen widget, click on the Installation Code button to copy it to your clipboard.

Step 2: Open Your Wix Editor

• Log into your Wix account and open the Wix site editor.
• In the left menu, click “Add Elements” (+ icon).
• Choose Embed Code > Embed HTML.

Step 3: Embed the MapCosmos Widget

• Drag the HTML embed box where you want the store locator to appear.
• Click the embed box, then select “Enter Code” (often the HTML window opens automatically).
• Paste the MapCosmos installation code you copied earlier.
• Click Apply or Update and close the HTML window with the code.

Your map widget will now appear exactly where you placed it on your Wix website!  

Step 4: Customize Further (Optional)  

Want to update colors, language, filters, or any other information visible on your map widget? Simply return to your MapCosmos dashboard and edit your widget. Changes will automatically reflect on your Wix site - no need to re-embed the code.
